About our Role

Prairie Land's two literacy strategists work closely with teachers in their classrooms to seek answers and develop practice when it comes to literacy instruction. Our focus is on developing the ways in which teachers use strategic instruction to advance student learning. We are dedicated to building professional capacity, nurturing networks within the division, and supporting teachers wellness through their learning.

We work in specific and extended periods in the schools in order to tackle your goals and challenges around literacy. Our work is directed by your goals for teaching and learning in your classroom, non-evaluative, and based on iterative/repeating cycles where we identify, investigate, implement, and reflect toward solutions.
